It means I’m a registered nurse who has done further training that lets me prescribe medicines in my own right. In aesthetics that matters, because some treatments involve prescription-only medicines and the person prescribing them has to assess you face to face. I do that myself rather than sending you elsewhere.

Whichever is easiest to get to. I treat in Wadebridge, St Austell and Par in Cornwall, and in Coventry, and each clinic runs on its own day of the week, so it’s often the day that decides it rather than the place. The contact page has the addresses, days and directions.

For most treatments, very little. You may have some redness, slight swelling or small marks where I’ve worked, and that usually settles within a day or two. I’ll tell you at the consultation what to expect from your treatment specifically, so you can plan around anything important.

Most people find them far more manageable than they expected. There’s usually a sharp scratch or a bit of stinging and it’s over quickly. If you’re nervous, say so and we’ll take it at your pace. I’d rather go slowly than have you sitting there dreading it.

It depends on the treatment. Some you’ll notice straight away, others build over a couple of weeks or need a short course before you see the full effect. I’ll tell you at the consultation what to expect and roughly when, so you’re not left wondering whether it’s working.
